Going to talk about my favorite singer from Libera. Yep, Ralph Skan. As I told you on my first (introduction) post :D
He is almost 15 years old. He joined Libera in 2006 and is still the active member. Last April, he was still joining the choir in their Spring Tour 2013. And in May, at the Guildford Concert, he has moved to the back row of the choir in charge of harmonizing the low notes.
Can you catch him? :D |

Clue: He has got a deeper voice that is able to harmonize the low notes. Catch him! credit: Martin |
I totally love the way he sing, full of smile, good eye contact with the audience, and probably effortless to sing his solo parts which are mostly so high. He also has very good public speaking ability. I know most of the boys are good in public speaking but Ralph is special. Why?? I won't tell you. Just watch this video and prove yourself :D (vid by Eric Paulin)
When he starts to sing, his flawless voice flows softly to my heart and soon gives peace through every ear hearing it. Here is my most favorite Libera song soloed by Ralph.
And this one, acoustic version of it. A beautiful harmony of piano and recorder. But the woman who plays the recorder is way amazing. She plays the touching melody that makes me weep badly, to be honest. (vid by nori3213)
Time flies so fast, as he grows older, his voice seems to change. Nevertheless, I had never heard him singing worse. He is still amazing just the way he is. So in the recent concerts, I used to see him in the back row, which means, he is now have to sing the low part. What a journey!!
Anyhow, he's turning 15 this August 12, 2013. So.. let's just wish him happy belated birthday then, I'm sure we love him.. Loove him!!!
