Libera and Ralph Skan, Thank God I found them

If I could hear the voice of heaven, it would be surely Libera. If I could be very enjoying every single moment of my life, that would be Libera for my inspiration. If I could sleep soundly and had a sweet dream every night, that’s just because of their calming songs. That is how Libera inspire my whole life. I’m so grateful that I got to find them. I’ve no idea on how many times I have played their songs. Maybe hundred times since I found them.  And I can’t deny that they have almost changed my music this past 7 months. And I think it’ll last for the rest of my life.

Going to talk about my favorite singer from Libera.  Yep, Ralph Skan. As I told you on my first (introduction) post :D

He is almost 15 years old.  He joined Libera in 2006 and is still the active member. Last April, he was still joining the choir in their Spring Tour 2013.  And in May, at the Guildford Concert, he has moved to the back row of the choir in charge of harmonizing the low notes.

Can you catch him? :D

He's at the center back row

Clue: He has got a deeper voice that is able to harmonize the low notes. Catch him! credit: Martin

I totally love the way he sing, full of smile, good eye contact with the audience, and probably effortless to sing his solo parts which are mostly so high. He also has very good public speaking ability. I know most of the boys are good in public speaking but Ralph is special. Why?? I won't tell you. Just watch this video and prove yourself :D (vid by Eric Paulin)

When he starts to sing, his flawless voice flows softly to my heart and soon gives peace through every ear hearing it. Here is my most favorite Libera song soloed by Ralph.

And this one, acoustic version of it. A beautiful harmony of piano and recorder. But the woman who plays the recorder is way amazing. She plays the touching melody that makes me weep badly, to be honest. (vid by nori3213)

Time flies so fast, as he grows older, his voice seems to change. Nevertheless, I had never heard him singing worse. He is still amazing just the way he is. So in the recent concerts, I used to see him in the back row, which means, he is now have to sing the low part. What a journey!!

Anyhow, he's turning 15 this August 12, 2013. So.. let's just wish him happy belated birthday then, I'm sure we love him.. Loove him!!!

Fot the start, let this post tell you a bit about me

It’s me. Anyway, thanks for stopping by. I’m not sure my posts here will be interesting. I might just post some random stuff, from random topics that people might not be interested in. But I thought why not? This could be really helping my English. So, skip if you don’t like it :D

About me, I’m a student, 16 years old. I just finished year 11 several days ago.

I have a super cute tiny hamster called Bunjo. And a red robin, a cat, and fishes in the small pond. I do not name the, by the way :D

I love to do swimming, playing my keyboard and recorder, and listening to music. I don’t prefer any specific genre because they’re all good in different ways. But mostly I love classical. Because it provides such calming melodies and tunes and I really love it.

I consider my self as a big choirfan. Yep, I love all kinds of choir. It’s unique that a group of people gather at a place and make some rows and start to sing beautifully that will build an incredibly great harmony. That’s what I can say about choir. Anyhow, I just discovered a boy’s choir named Libera in the early January 2013. The only reason why this South London based-boys choir is special is that they are the boys who can sing their trebles so high. Plus their sacred white robes that shine beautifully in every performances. They can easily steal people’s heart by their heavenly voice. And those awesome cute faces too.. Oh Lord… they must be as amazing as Vienna Boys’ Choir and the Wilten BC

My favorite chorister and soloist from Libera is Ralph Skan. He is such a sweet, polite, kind, friendly and talented boy. Many other fans probably would say the same about him. When he sings, his softly touching voice can easily lead us to weep. Indeed, Ralph is amazing.

He's a lovely little angel

That’s it for today. Thanks for reading. Please excuse my poor English. Hope to post more later. See ya
